Just as important as having a goal, in my opinion as a goals expert, is taking a break. A planned break.
Now don’t misunderstand the difference between a break and a quit. They are not even close. In fact, a break can be exactly what is needed to reenergize your mind and body and get even more closely aligned to your outcome.
Taking a planned break is constructive, a quit is destructive.
It’s a constructive action to take but only when your thoughts and emotions driving the break are constructive.
