We all have times when it feels like our mojo has left us stranded.
For me, it’s any time that I travel. Travel takes my mojo and it takes me a little time to get it back.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious when we are trying to grow a business, if we allow it.
The feelings of stress and overwhelm are key contributors to losing your mojo to begin with. It’s helpful to know that those feelings are coming from thoughts. That’s it.
I know that you think it’s something going on out side of you that is causing. Nope! It’s a thought or maybe two.
You might be thinking…”I’m tired,” “Maybe I should have stayed home and worked,” “I should be farther along,” “Going away wasn’t worth it if it feels this bad coming home,” “When will I start making money anyway!”
All of those thoughts are creating the stress the overwhelm. Then stress and overwhelm become the fuel for the action that you take or don’t take.
That’s what creates the result of losing our mojo…sound familiar?
This is something that I have had to work on a lot over that last several years. Between travel for fun, and business, I have experienced the loss of my mojo and so I am sharing a few tips that have helped me get it back.
First of all…do you know what causes you to lose your mojo? Awareness is key here. Then you can get to work to get it back.
1. Rest – I plan to get plenty of rest. Your brain needs a break and sleep is king!
2. Visioneering – I visualize my future self having already created my results. I rest in her knowledge and feel her confidence. The longer you can spend time with your future self the easier it gets. For sure, she knows how to get your mojo back, she’s done it hundreds of time.
3. Intention – I re-set my intentions. This actively re-engages the brain and creates the thought process that will swing your mojo back to you.
5. Action – Sometimes taking action, any action creates the momentum you need to get back into the swing of things. Sitting around just thinking about it doesn’t get it back.
6. Gratitude – Focusing on gratitude shifts my energy and nothing gets my mojo back faster than good ole’ gratitude.
